How do I make an appointment?

The quickest way is to text or call Susannah on 07939 056 870; if you get my VOICE MAIL, leave your full name & email address so I can get back to you. I need your email so I can email you a health form to fill in. Then the second option is to send me an email. I only check email twice a day am and pm. Please Do leave a message, and I will get back to you. I won't call you back if you don't leave a message due to spam calls.

The first part of your appointment & assessment will be via phone or a virtual zoom session (approx 15 mins), where we discuss your needs and plan the face to face session.

What Happens During the Session?

  • It may involve a mixture of hands-on massage to ease pain and discomfort to help you feel better.

  • Or offering you effective breathing practices to reduce stress and anxiety

  • Sessions might also include learning yoga postures and movement practices to become more mobile and flexible.

  • Or using balls, domes and rollers - all designed to support you in managing your own SELF- CARE treatment/recovery.

How much will it cost?

An Initial assessment & treatment takes 60 mins and costs £55.00.

Longer sessions are 90 minutes and cost £75.00

Express sessions are £45.00 for 45 minutes.

Follow up options can be booked as individual sessions at the same rate or upgraded to a block of 4 and booked in advance to maximise results and make a saving.

*30 Minutes session only for review or if someone has referred you or if you only want an express massage treatment£30.00

What do I need to know before I attend the first appointment?

Please wear something comfortable that you can move in for the assessment. I will need to have access to see and work on your problem areas, so leggings or shorts and a t-shirt are ideal gym wear is good.

For treatment, women will undress down to bra (preferably not a sports t back bra as it can be challenging to get off and briefs. Men, please wear briefs or Stretchy pants or running/cycling shorts. I want you to feel secure and comfortable, but I MAY need to be able to access thighs, hips, low back, glutes ( buttocks) and Hamstrings ( back of thighs)

How will I be covered?

You will be kept warm and covered with towels. I use hot wheat packs, and the couch has an electric pad in winter. There will be a pillow, face cradle pad, and legs bolster for your physical comfort.

What products do you use?

I use Songbird Naturals waxes and balms and fascial release wax for myofascial bodywork. There is also a vegan option. I use TuneUpFitness balls and Sissell Soft Rollers. Yoga kit I purchase from Yogamatters

Can my medical insurance cover the cost of my treatment?

Occasionally my clients can get reimbursed for the treatment they receive from me through their health insurance provider. You will need to enquire with your insurer directly as I don't deal with private medical insurance companies. If you require a receipt for each treatment, you will need to let me know before your treatment so that I can prepare a receipt recording date of service and fees charged.

How do I pay?

Payment is at the time of booking via Stripe, or I can take your details on the phone or send you an invoice to pay by Bank transfer via BACS. Sorry, I no longer accept cheques.

What Sort of Massages do you do?

I often blend "Massage" Styles, depending on what is needed to get the best results. Mobilising the soft tissues of the body involves the application of different techniques such as pressure, compression, creating sheer & gliding, cross-fibre work specific to the soft tissue structures and the Multilayer network of soft connective tissue.

What is soft tissue?

This is ALL encompassing an all intertwined, not separated as in separate muscles, tendons, ligaments, linking into the myofascial matrix and web of nerves and blood vessels and organs bones etc.

What is your cancellation policy?

It's quite simple; you need to give me at least 24 hours notice if you want to avoid paying for a session you can't make.
